First Officer (Inexperienced on Narrow Body)

Scope of Advertisement

The first officer candidates with less than 500 hours of flight experience in one of the B737 or A320 types will be evaluated within the scope of this announcement.

General Qualifications

•Turkish citizen or Blue Card holder

•Born after 01.01.1979

•At least high school graduation (our candidates who graduated from a high school abroad are required to submit their equivalence certificates.)

•Not having received any written punishment due to flight failure or flight indiscipline

•No criminal record or criminal archive record

•Having completed the military service or being exempt from or able to postpone it for a minimum of 2 years

•Accepting the place to be shown by the Company as the main base and residing there

•Not having quit jobs in Turkish Airlines Inc. or other organizations due to indiscipline previously

•Not having left Turkish Airlines Inc. and its affiliates due to contract termination previously

•For Blue Card holders or candidates who have more than one citizenship, being able to speak Turkish fluently and clearly

Technical Qualifications

•Holding CPL/IR(A)with ATPL theoretical credit or ATPL (A) (DGCA/EASA/FAA/ICAO)

•Holding a valid type rating on one of A320 or B737 aircrafts

•Having a current Class-1 certificate compatible with his/her license

1. Pilot Recruitment Health Criteria

•Holding a valid health certificate given by an Aviation Medical Center authorized by Turkish DGCA does not mean your recruitment examination is over; because the latest recruitment examination to be performed by our Company’s workplace physicians is essential. Our Company's workplace physicians will check your past health records and updated health file and based on their evaluations they will determine your suitability for employment. If the candidate is not employed, they may not claim any right.

•If the candidates’ latest Health Certificates include OML, CCL, OAL and OOL restriction, the Company workplace physicians shall conduct a preliminary interview with the candidates in the Occupational Health Management. Before the interview, the candidates are required to

-Apply together with the health file of their latest periodic examination, certificate, and their Health records related to the conditions that are the cause of the OML restriction,

-Come to the location at the specified time on the specified date to interview with our Workplace physicians.


2. Holding Updated 'Fit for Flight' Health Report

•The candidates who are successful in the selection processes are required to obtain a medical report at the employment stage, which should be issued within the last 30 days by the Aviation Medical Centers authorized by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation and confirm that they are healthy enough to be fit for flight.
