Recruitment Journey

General Aptitude and Online English Test: Following the review of applications, eligible candidates are invited to an online assessment consisting of General Aptitude and English sections. The General Aptitude section evaluates a range of cognitive abilities, while the English section assesses the level of language proficiency required for the relevant position.

Online Human Resources and Business Unit Technical Assessment: Candidates who successfully complete the General Aptitude and Online English Test meet online with representatives from Human Resources and the relevant business unit. During this interview, candidates’ experience, competencies, career motivation, and suitability for the position are assessed holistically. The interview also provides candidates with an opportunity to learn more about Turkish Airlines, the relevant area of work, and the position they have applied for.

Job Offer: Candidates who successfully complete all assessment stages receive a job offer. Once the offer is accepted, the pre-employment process begins, and the necessary documents and relevant information are shared with the candidates.

Documentation and Pre-Employment Process: Candidates who accept the job offer are expected to complete the employment documentation required for the relevant country and position. Once the necessary checks and country-specific pre-employment procedures have been successfully completed, your career journey at Turkish Airlines begins.

Do I need to provide tools (laptop or internet access etc.) for online assessment?

Although the assessment processes are conducted online you are still required to be present in the office you are applying for at the time of the assessment.
How long does it take to receive the results of the assessment process?

The results of the assessment process are usually announced in a few weeks. However, this period might take longer depending on the number of the candidates.
What should you expect during the job interview?

Interviews usually lasts 20 to 30 minutes. We ask resume based questions to know the candidate better by giving him/her the chance to describe himself/herself. We then proceed to questions regarding the professional life such as; responsibilities in previous jobs, strengths and weaknesses.
Is citizenship or work permit mandatory to apply for international positions?

It is obligatory to hold a work permit in the country you applied for,valid for at least one year.
Is the work schedule fixed for international positions?

The work schedule for office positions is fixed in accordance with the countries labor law. However, there is no fixed working hours for airport and airline operation positions; the shift plans change regularly. In general, there are early, middle and late shifts and sometimes night shifts under certain operational requirements.
What are the positions we can apply for?

There are various positions including Sales and Traffic Agent, Cargo Agent, Marketing Representative, Marketing Representatives for Corporate and Accountant.
What is the criteria for international positions?

Minimum high school graduation (2/4 years of university degree is preferred)
Permanent work permit in the respective country
Experience in civil aviation or tourism (min 1 year)
Good command of English and local language
Clear criminal record
Does Turkish Airlines provide assistance with the work permit process?

Turkish Airlines does not assist in obtaining a work permit. Candidates who do not hold a valid work permit in the country they apply for, are not eligible to attend the assessment process.
What benefits does Turkish Airlines offer to its employees?

I currently live in a different country other than the country I plan to apply for and hold work permit in. Does Turkish Airlines provide relocation package?

Turkish Airlines does not provide relocation package. Candidates are required to cover the expenses by their own means.
If I submit an application for an open position, will Turkish Airlines keep me on file?

We do keep candidates in the talent pool for future opportunities unless they make a written request to prevent the company from keeping the data.
Is it possible to relocate after commencing employment?

Relocation depends on human resources planning, holding a valid work permit and other conditions.
What is the salary scale of Turkish Airlines?

Turkish Airlines’ salaries are competitive in the aviation sector. Specific details may vary on based on the role and regions. HR will provide more information during the application process.
